About Dawn

I am a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture council, who is bound by their code of practice. Please click on the link below to verify my membership:

I gained my Licentiate and degree from one of the leading colleges of acupuncture in the UK - the College of Traditional Acupuncture - in 2004 (after studying for 3 years).

I  have worked full time in my private acupuncture practice in Codsall since 2004, completing post graduate training courses as appropriate to further develop my practice  and togain additional specialist knowledge:
  • Acupuncture for Pain Relief – Ben Stevens
  • Intensive Apprenticeship Programme with Gerad Kite – London (20 days)
  • Fertility Seminar I – Nature Child – Royal College of Physicians, London
  • Fertility Seminar II – Nature Child – Royal College of Physicians, London
  • Obstetric Seminar – Nature Child – Royal College of Physicians, London
  • Fertility Acupuncture – Zita West
  • Shonishin (Paediatric Acupuncture) – Stephen Birch
  • Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (Now known as Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture) – Virginia Doran – College of Traditional Acupuncture, Leamington Spa
It is important to me to continually review and build my practice and consequently I have studied and continue to study with some extremely prominent acupuncturists to deepen my knowledge further. These acupuncturists include:
·        Niki Bilton (an acupuncturist of over 30 years standing) with whom I regularly co-ordinate and attend a study group),
·         Judy Worsley – the widow of the late Professor JR Worsley
·         Zita West
·         Debra Betts
·         Jani White
·         Gerad Kite
I am also a member of “The Acupuncture Fertility Network” – the link to their website is:
In addition to my practice I taught at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwickshire between 2007 and 2011, which was an extremely rewarding experience.

I continue to be dedicated to the progression of students post qualification. To facilitate this I also offer a study group to support recently qualified practitioners.
As your acupuncturist my job is to ensure that your treatments are supporting you as you get back on the track you want to be on in life. I feel that it is important that acupuncture is available to anyone who thinks it may help. Therefore I am always willing to treat people from all walks of life and to do home visits for those who are too sick or physically unable to visit my clinic.
I am dedicated to the principle that every person and condition is unique, and has their own individual requirements. I am always willing to see you for a short initial consultation on a no fee basis, so that you can meet me and discuss whether acupuncture would be suitable for you.
